Phil started out in the world of tattooing almost 30 years ago. When began he was as a slaughter man at Birmingham meat markets. He used to take the tattooist meat in return for letting him have tattoos and for letting him hang around the studio and as it goes with so many of us he began doing the jobs like making tea etc and then took up a serious interest in the noble art itself. Phil has been tattooing for almost 30 years as stated and started his first studio properly around 27 years ago. His mentor was a man called Billy Jones who used to go down to Brighton during the holiday season and when Phil was staying at his Aunties that's when he really got into tattooing. Since then things have looked and got better and better for the tattooing business. Phil now has two shops and has the distinction of being the 1st fully registered tattooist in the whole of Northamptonshire. Like many tattooists Phil's journey through the ranks of tattooing, to position he is in now has not been easy, it has often meant being late home, having to work in order to ensure bills etc are paid phil is now an established businessman and has focused on providing the county with a service that essentially been around since Egyptian times, and this service is given to the public with enthusiasm and courtesy at all times, as all of us will tell you we don't mind how big or small the job is if you want a tattoo please ask if you have your own ideas then bring them along, I am certain we be able to help you make an informed decision.
